Spotlight: Antony and the Johnsons

ANTONY AND THE JOHNSONS

Saturday: This may not be the most romantic music for Valentine's Day, but it's gorgeous, precious, emotional chamber pop. The spotlight landed on Antony Hegarty when he won England's prestigious Mercury Prize in 2005 for "I Am a Bird Now," which featured cameos by Lou Reed, Rufus Wainwright and others. While that disc was mainly about identity, Antony's 2009 followup, "The Crying Light," is a deeply felt exploration of his relationship with Mother Earth. Maybe his own mother and father, who live in the Twin Cities area, will show up. (8 p.m. Sat. $31. Pantages Theatre, 710 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 651-989-5151.)
