A homecoming for Duluth Marshall basketball after state tournament canceled
The Duluth Marshall girls' basketball team was set to play in the MSHL semifinals on Friday March 13, 2020 until the tournament was cancelled in response to the coronavirus outbreak. The team was forced to return to Duluth on Friday but was welcomed by their parents and some administrators. The initial hope was to release the student body early and welcome the team back as a school. But due to new restrictions on large gatherings, that idea was scrapped.
