• Georg Streitberger of Austria held off overall leader Bode Miller and won the men's super-G for his first World Cup victory, edging the American by 0.20 seconds in Kvitfjell, Norway. Miller's result matched his previous best in the super-G this season.
Miller increased his lead in the overall standings ahead of Didier Cuche of Switzerland, who finished in third place 0.32 seconds behind Streitberger. Miller now has 1,363 points. Cuche is 185 points behind.
• Former Burnsville skier Lindsey (Kildow) Vonn got a boost in her bid for the overall World Cup title with the cancellation of the women's slalom because of heavy winds in Zwiesel, Germany.
"In the end it plays out better for me, but I always want everyone to have an equal opportunity," said Vonn, who has managed only 22 points in six slalom races this season.
She leads Nicole Hosp of Austria by 54 points in the overall standings, 1,103 to 1,049.
• Jorgen Aukland beat his brother Anders and won the 56-mile Vasaloppet cross-country marathon, the world's oldest, longest and biggest ski race in Mora, Sweden. Aukland won in 4 hours, 13 minutes, 45 seconds, beating his brother by 3:29 to become the third Norwegian winner since 1971. Anders Aukland won in 2004.

Belgium's Darcis wins in Memphis Steve Darcis of Belgium won his second ATP title Sunday, defeating Robin Soderling of Sweden 6-3, 7-6 (5) in the final at the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships in Memphis.
Darcis won in the Netherlands last year as a qualifier. Soderling, seeded eighth and playing in his second consecutive ATP final, was going for the third title of his career. He upset top-seeded Andy Roddick to reach the semifinals.

Wrestling: Henry Cejudo did what he had to at the Pan American Wrestling Championships in his hometown of Colorado Springs, winning two matches Sunday and ensuring an Olympic berth for the United States in the 121-pound freestyle division. Cejudo, however, is not yet assured a trip to Beijing. Olympic-qualifying events give berths to countries, not individual wrestlers. Cejudo and others still must qualify at the U.S. trials on June 13-15 in Las Vegas.
Distance running: Russia's Tatiana Aryasova made a smashing marathon debut Sunday, taking advantage of a head start on the male runners to capture the Los Angeles Marathon in 2 hours, 29 minutes, 9 seconds. Kenya's Laban Moiben won the men's division in 2:13:50. Aryasova and Moiben each received $20,000 and a car for winning their divisions.
