Eric Reid, who appeared to be one of the most reliable defensive backs on this year's NFL free agency market, is still looking for a job. His continued unemployment prompted the NFL Players Association to file a non-injury grievance related to Reid's free agency. The grievance is related to questions the veteran safety has been asked about his plans to continue kneeling during the anthem next season.

... The Saints released veteran tight end Coby Fleener. The 6-foot-6, 251-pound Fleener caught 72 passes for 926 yards and five touchdowns in 27 games with the Saints before his 2017 season was cut short by a Week 12 concussion. ... Former Broncos running back C.J. Anderson signed a one-year contract with the Panthers. Anderson has run for 3,051 yards in his five-year NFL career.

Bettor wins big

Justify's win in the 2018 Kentucky Derby capped a $1.2 million payday for an Austin, Texas, woman. Margaret Reid was at Retama Park, near San Antonio, watching and wagering the day's racing Saturday at Churchill Downs in Louisiville, Ky.

Reid wagered $18 on a Pick 5 bet, picking which horses she thought would win the Derby and the four Churchill Downs races leading up to it.

And she hit each one: Limousine Liberal in the Churchill Downs Stakes, Maraud in the American Turf Stakes, 39-1 longshot Funny Duck in the Pat Day Mile Stakes, 9-1 longshot Yoshida in the Old Forester Turf Classic Stakes, then Justify in the Derby.
