Troubled heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury says he has been bingeing on cocaine and alcohol to deal with manic depression.

The British boxer has not fought since beating Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 to claim the WBA, WBO and IBF titles.

A rematch with Klitschko was postponed for a second time last month after Fury was declared "medically unfit."

Fury spoke of his "personal demons" in a rambling interview with Rolling Stone.

"I'm a manic depressive. I just hope someone kills me before I kill myself," Fury is quoted as saying.

Fury said he quit his training camp in the Netherlands in May and has been on a downward spiral since.

"I've been out drinking, Monday to Friday to Sunday," Fury said. "I've taken drugs, cocaine, on many, many occasions for the last six months."

Fury was stripped of the IBF title for not fighting a mandatory challenger, but he still has the WBO and WBA titles. That could change because of his ongoing inactivity and the potential withdrawal of his license by the British Boxing Board of Control.

"The Board meets next week and we'll discuss it, I'm fairly sure," BBBofC general secretary Robert Smith told Britain's Press Association.

American basketball player Cameron Moore, who joined Macedonian team AV Ohrid this week, died suddenly during his first practice session.

The team's legal representative, Ivo Markoski, said the 25-year-old Moore arrived late Monday from Venice, Italy. He said the player had been in Ohrid, a tourist resort town in southern Macedonia, for a matter of hours before dying Tuesday.

Markoski said Moore had signed a preliminary deal with the Ohrid team and had just begun medical tests. An official deal with the team was to be signed after the medical tests were completed. Ohrid police spokesman Stefan Dimeski said the player collapsed during practice and was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Blatt accepts ring

Former Cavaliers coach David Blatt accepted a championship ring from the team despite being fired last season.

Blatt was dismissed midway through his second season by Cleveland. The Cavs were 30-11 at the time he was replaced by assistant Tyronn Lue, who guided the Cavs to a historic comeback in the finals to capture the first major sports championship by a Cleveland team since 1964.

Blatt told Israel-based reporter David Pick that he accepted the ring from the Cavs "because they presented it to me in a way that was very respectful." He said the Cavs told him that he contributed to the championship.

The Cavs confirmed that General Manager David Griffin offered the ring to Blatt and he accepted.

One of Europe's most celebrated coaches before he was hired in Cleveland, Blatt, now coaching in Turkey, went 83-40 in his tenure with the Cavs.
