Duke's Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett were named to the Associated Press All-America team Tuesday, becoming the second freshman teammates to make the first team in the same season. They were joined by Tennessee's Grant Williams, Michigan State's Cassius Winston and Ja Morant of Murray State.

Kentucky's DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall were the only other freshman teammates to take first-team AP honors in 2010.

The 6-7, 285-pound Williamson electrified college basketball with an array of thunderous dunks and soaring blocks, occasionally having to tilt his head to avoid hitting it on the backboard. He was selected unanimously by 64 voters as a first-team All-American. He averaged 22.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.2 blocked shots and 1.8 steals per game while leaving everyone wondering what he would do next.

Barrett arrived at Duke as the higher-rated recruit and while everyone fawned over his high-flying teammate, the athletic 6-7 guard quietly had a superb season in Durham. Barrett led the Blue Devils with 22.9 points, grabbed 7.5 rebounds and dished 4.1 assists per game on a team that came a game short of the Final Four.

Wisconsin center Ethan Happ and Purdue guard Carsen Edwards were on the second team along with Gonzaga forward Rui Hachimura, Texas Tech guard Jarrett Culver and Marquette guard Markus Howard.

Michigan's Ignas Brazdeikis and South Dakota State's Mike Daum received honorable mention.

Olson won 781 games during a decorated career at Long Beach State, Iowa and Arizona, taking the Hawkeyes to the Final Four and the Wildcats to a trio of Final Fours and winning the 1997 title.

Majerus, who died in 2012, won 517 games at Marquette, Ball State, Utah and Saint Louis.

Joining them during the induction ceremony this November are former Indiana star Calbert Cheaney, Duke's Shane Battier, Purdue's Terry Dischinger, Ernie DiGregorio of Providence, UNLV's Larry Johnson, Stanford's Todd Lichti and longtime Valparaiso coach Homer Drew.

Company makes big pledge to equalize pay

The maker of LUNA Bar brand nutrition bars has pledged to pay $31,250 to each of the players who make the U.S. roster for the Women's World Cup, an amount the company says makes up the difference between bonuses for the men's and women's national teams.

California-based Clif Bar & Company announced the planned payments on Equal Pay Day, which highlights the gender wage gap.

U.S. men's team players earned a $55,000 bonus apiece for making the World Cup roster in 2014, while the women earned a $15,000 bonus each for making the 2015 World Cup roster.
