Sports bars: A few of our Minnesota-focused favorites

Is this a "Bests" list? Nah. You have your favorites, here are a few of ours:

One good Vikings bar: Hubert's. Part museum, part rec room, part bar — long live Hubert's and the smell of light beers on a Sunday morning.

One good Twins bar: Two Gingers Pub. The best baseball bar is in the ballpark. High up behind homeplate, watch the game next wonderful organist Sue Nelson.

One good Gophers bar: Stub and Herb's. Ahh, go buy a ticket, cheapskate, the Gophs need your support! If not: belly up at this old beauty.

One good Wolves bar: Liquor Lyle's. The best kind of sports bar: not really a sports bar, but plenty of TVs, cheap drinks and great people-watching.

One good Wild bar: Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub. Check out the Old Time Hockey memorabilia, including a photo of Reid himself beating Ken Dryden on a penalty shot. You can also unite Canada and Minnesota by washing down some poutine with a Summit.

One good soccer bar: Brit's Pub. Maybe it's a cliché, but this is still the spot to watch the Beautiful Game — especially if you're into the EPL.
