The Polar Vortex has been wreaking havoc on fashion's elite. But their fingers aren't too cold to tweet.

While we're layering wool socks with Red Wings and Mukluks, designer Michael Kors is finding his stylish footwear isn't exactly functional.

"I woke up this morning and realized I have all these boots that I can't actually wear in the snow," Kors tweeted.

Joan Rivers had a different perspective:

"I love the cold because I wear my vintage furs. I love dragging an old animal around town — it makes me feel like Catherine Zeta-Jones." — @Joan_Rivers
