A slow-moving storm system pushing across the Lower Midwest today is spreading chilly rain over the Midwest. Portions of the Upper Midwest across northern parts of Wisconsin and Minnesota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan will have wet snow mix in during the afternoon. Over the next few days snow showers will continue to develop over similar areas as well as northern Michigan.

The northern and central Appalachians and interior portions of the Northeast could have some wet snow mix in or fall alone by Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Some of the mountains could be whitened, but accumulations will not likely reach the lower elevations.
