Ryan Cos. has awarded contracts to six mostly local subcontractors who will help build the structure of the $63 million Lowertown Ballpark, the soon-to-be new home of the St. Paul Saints..
Minneapolis-based Ryan says more than 97 percent of the project will be completed by Minnesota-based contractors, vendors and consultants.
Here's the list that was released Thursday:
Pre-cast concrete: Hanson Structural Precast, Maple Grove, will install precast columns, beams, the deck plank, wall panels, raker beams, stadia sections, and seating tubs at the club/suite level.\
Cast-in-place concrete: Ryan Cos. will install cast-in-place concrete footings, grade beams, foundation walls, field walls, retaining walls, steps, and sidewalks.
Masonry: Serice Construction, Inc., Inver Grover Heights, will install structural and architectural concrete masonry units, including burnished blocks.
Food service equipment: Hockenbergs, Eagan, will install food service equipment.
Elevators: Schindler Elevators, Eagan, will install three hydraulic passenger elevators and one hydraulic service elevator.
