Not content with the pile of dough she made from “Avatar,” Sigourney Weaver, promoting the film in Brazil, whines about the epic’s lost Oscar. “In the past, 'Avatar’ would have won because [Academy voters] loved to hand out awards to big productions, like 'Ben Hur,’ ” she said. “Today it’s fashionable to give the Oscar to a small movie that nobody saw.” She also opines that James Cameron lost out as best director because he “didn’t have breasts.”
