Seven on Region teams
A school-record seven Gophers were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's Great Lakes All-Region team Thursday. Pitcher Sara Groenewegen, first baseman Kaitlyn Richardson and infielder Sam Macken were picked for the first team, second baseman Danielle Parlich, shortstop Tyler Walker and outfielder Hannah Granger for the second, and catcher Taylor LeMay for the third. Region coaches voted on the teams.
