Tom Serratore signed a tryout contract with Philadelphia Flyers' affiliate, the Adirondack (N.Y.) Phantoms, on Monday.
The Gophers senior forward will join the Phantoms immediately. The American Hockey League member has four games remaining in the regular season, including Monday night on the road against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
Serratore had seven points (three goals, four assists) and a plus-minus of plus-eight at left wing for the Gophers this season. The almost 25-year-old was also a big part of the veteran leadership that helped guide the program back to its first national championship appearance in 11 years.
The highlight of Serratore's season came on senior night when he scored the eventual game-winning goal.
Serratore played 140 career games with the Gophers and finished with 15 goals, seven assists. He was one of 11 undrafted players on the Gophers 25-man roster.
