MILWAUKEE – A new attraction opening Friday at the home of the Milwaukee Brewers pays homage to former team owner and retired baseball commissioner Bud Selig.
“The Selig Experience” at Miller Park is also just as much a celebration of the franchise’s history and a symbol of baseball’s solid future in Milwaukee.
Selig, a Milwaukee native, spearheaded efforts to move the Seattle Pilots to his hometown, and the Brewers were born in 1970.
The attraction recounts that story and Selig’s lifelong passion for baseball in Milwaukee. The Brewers say it’s designed in part to appeal to younger fans.
“Everything is really, really extraordinary,” Selig said. “I am rarely speechless in my life. I was speechless.”
