March 24, 1966 Downtown Minneapolis was nearly deserted .Wednesday during what is normally the rush hour after a spring blizzard left most area residents stranded in their homes. The lonely pedestrian with Nicollet Av. all to himself was Dave Scheusner, 4732 Pillsbury Av., who was en route to work, warmly shod in white Arctic boots. Dec. 14, 1961 An Impromptu game in the snow helped keep Vikings Ray Hayes and Jim Marshall warm during Wednesday's workout at Midway stadium.
