The Schubert Club, Minnesota's oldest arts organization, has announced a 2011-12 season that includes the return of pianist André Watts and mezzo Susan Graham in separate concerts. In addition, violinist Christian Tetzlaff and pianists Alfred Brendel and Menahem Pressler are on tap for special offerings. Watts will perform an all-Liszt program in November and Graham is slated for January.
The INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS SERIES features these dates:
OCT. 4: Violinist Sarah Chang and pianist Andrew von Oeyen.
NOV. 29: Watts.
JAN. 10: Graham and pianist Malcolm Martineau.
FEB. 15: violinist Julia Fischer and pianist Milana Chernyavska.
APRIL 25: baritone Matthias Goerne and pianist Leif Ove Andsnes.
All performances are at 8 p.m. at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul.
