There was a teen takeover of the Mall of America's Hard Rock Cafe, but there wasn't a shopping bag in sight. Instead, the young people were dressed their best for the St. Jude Red Carpet for Hope Teen Gala.

To gain admission to the Golden Globe Awards presentation — and the full VIP treatment — each attendee had to raise a minimum of $250. Many went above and beyond that, including Orono High School alum Gracie Myers, who raised $2,820.

An all-teen committee from Orono and Wayzata High Schools planned the event (a benefit for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital), which boasted a dinner buffet and mocktails, as well as henna body art, a photo booth and, of course, dancing.
