Famous skier Lindsey Vonn returned to Minnesota to host a fundraising dinner for the newly formed Buck Hill Foundation.
Vonn, an Olympic gold medalist, learned to ski at the Burnsville ski area under the tutelage of Erich Sailer. The head coach and program director of the Buck Hill Ski Racing Club has created a program that has produced some of the world’s most talented skiers.
The foundation seeks to foster and develop young skiers.
