Scene + Heard: Doing Good Together fundraiser

Doing Good Together is more than just the name: It's the mission of the local nonprofit. That mission was evident at its annual fundraiser. Doing Good Together offered guests cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and raffles — then put those guests to work.

Some assembled literacy kits to donate to homeless children to encourage a love of learning. Others took to braiding colorful fleece fabric to fashion chew toys for rescue dogs in foster care. The evening ended with live music, party games and a celebration of all the good that Doing Good Together has done over the past 10 years.
