Saturday's WCHA roundup: Down 3-0, UNO rallies past St. Cloud

NEBRASKA-OMAHA 4, ST. CLOUD STATE 3: Eric Olimb had a goal and an assist and Ryan Walters scored the winner midway through the third period as the Mavericks rallied from a three-goal deficit and completed a sweep of the Huskies on Saturday night in Omaha.Matt White and Terry Broadhurst also scored for UNO, which outshot St. Cloud State 55-25, including 24-7 in the third period.

David Eddy, Garrett Roe and Drew LeBlanc scored in the first period to give the Huskies a 3-0 lead.

DENVER 5, COLORADO COLLEGE 3: Nick Shore scored two goals in a 1:07 span late in the first period as the host Pioneers came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Tigers. Denver moved into a first-place tie with Minnesota Duluth atop the WCHA.

BEMIDJI STATE 4, MINN. STATE MANKATO 1: Jordan George scored two goals as the visiting Beavers salvaged a series split.

ALASKA ANCHORAGE 4, MICHIGAN TECH 2: Jordan Kwas scored the go-ahead goal on a power play with 10:19 left as the host Seawolves extended the Huskies' winless streak to 24 games (0-22-2). The victory enabled UAA to move past the Gophers into seventh place in the WCHA.
