Edwin Encarnacion homered and Roberto Osuna bounced back from a nightmarish outing to record the save as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Indians 6-5 on Saturday night in Cleveland.

The Blue Jays were stunned Friday night on Tyler Naquin's game-ending inside-the-park home run off Osuna that gave the Indians a 3-2 win.

This matchup between division leaders also had plenty of drama, with Osuna getting his 28th save by retiring Naquin on a groundout to end it.

Toronto built a 5-0 lead, but Cleveland scored five times in the fourth. Encarnacion's leadoff homer in the fifth, his 35th of the season, put Toronto back on top.

The Blue Jay built their early lead on Melvin Upton Jr.'s two-run homer, Russell Martin's solo homer and Devon Travis' two-run single.

Cleveland rallied in the fourth on Mike Napoli's sacrifice fly, Jose Ramirez's RBI single and Lonnie Chisenhall's tying three-run homer.

Chicago 6, Oakland 2: Chris Sale pitched eight scoreless innings for his first victory in 49 days, Jose Abreu homered and the White Sox beat the A's in Chicago. Sale (15-6) was the majors' first 14-game winner and the AL starter in the All-Star Game, but the lefthander had gone 0-4 in six starts since.

Houston 12, Baltimore 2: Jason Castro had a solo homer, an RBI double, a bases-loaded walk and an RBI groundout to lead the Astros to a rout over the host Orioles. Alex Bregman and George Springer also homered for Houston.

Tampa Bay 8, Texas 2: Evan Longoria and Luke Maile homered, and Jake Odorizzi won his fifth game since the All-Star break as the host Rays ended the Rangers' four-game winning streak.

Boston 3, Detroit 2: David Ortiz hit a two-run homer for the Red Sox in their road win.

New York 5, Los Angeles 1: Luis Cessa threw six shutout innings and Gary Sanchez homered as the Yankees beat the host Angels. Albert Pujols hit a homer for Los Angeles.

National League

New York 9, San Francisco 5: Yoenis Cespedes hit two long solo home runs and had an RBI double in his second game back from the disabled list to lead the Mets over the Giants in San Francisco. Teammate Alejandro De Aza hit a three-run homer.

Washington 11, Atlanta 9: Ryan Zimmerman homered among his three hits in his return from the disabled list, and the Nationals used an eight-run fourth inning to hold off the Braves in Atlanta.

Chicago 9, Colorado 2: Kris Bryant hit a three-run homer and had four RBI and Miguel Montero had three RBI in the Cubs' rout of the host Rockies.

Miami 3, Pittsburgh 1: Xavier Scruggs hit his first major league home run and David Phelps pitched six scoreless innings to help the Marlins beat the host Pirates.

Philadelphia 4, St. Louis 2: Cesar Hernandez homered, doubled and singled, and Jeremy Hellickson pitched seven strong innings in the Phillies' win over the visiting Cardinals.

Cincinnati 11, Los Angeles 1: Brandon Finnegan took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, Adam Duvall and Jose Peraza each hit home runs in returns to the lineup as the Reds routed the visiting Dodgers.

Arizona 2, San Diego 1: The Diamondbacks, who had only four hits, scored their first run on a double-play ball in the fifth inning and their second on a fielder's choice in the sixth to edge the host Padres. Robbie Ray of Arizona struck out a career-high 13 and gave up just one hit in seven innings.

Interleague

Seattle 8, Milwaukee 2: Felix Hernandez of the host Mariners gave up only two runs and seven hits in eight innings while his catcher, Mike Zunino, had a homer and three RBI.
