McCabe's two goals rally Badgers

• WISCONSIN 4, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 3: Jake McCabe's second goal of the game at 6:27 of the third period was the winner as the Badgers (11-6-1) split with the Seawolves (9-9-2) at the Kohl Center. Tyler Barnes and Eddie Wittchow, two Minnesotans, had Wisconsin's other goals; Matt Bailey scored twice for UAA which led 1-0 and 3-2. Joel Rumpel made 26 saves for the Badgers.

• NORTHERN MICHIGAN 3, BEMIDJI STATE 1: Stephan Vigier's 11th goal of the season broke a 1-1 tie and led the Wildcats (8-10-2, 6-5-1 WCHA) to a sweep of the Beavers (5-11-6, 5-7-4) in Bemidji. Jeff Jubinville scored late in the opening period for Bemidji State.

Exhibition

• ST. CLOUD STATE 8, U18 U.S. TEAM 0: Sophomore Joey Benik's hat trick led the Huskies over the visiting U.S. national team. Benik scored with 10 seconds left in the opening period, 17 seconds into the second and with 1:16 to play in the third.
