What to watch today
No. 9 UCLA at No. 16 Arizona
7 p.m., Ch. 5
Records: UCLA 3-0, Arizona 3-0
The skinny: One of the biggest games in Arizona Stadium's recent history features two undefeated, top-20 teams hoping to take control of the Pac-12 South. The Bruins have won all three games since Jim Mora took over at UCLA and Rich Rodriguez began coaching at Arizona.
The stat: The Bruins have won a school-record 11 straight games away from the Rose Bowl. Their last road loss was to Oregon in 2013.
The line: UCLA by 3 ½
No. 22 BYU at Michigan
11 a.m., Ch. 5
Records: BYU 2-1, Michigan 2-1
The skinny: The Cougars can stay ranked with another victory after winning at Nebraska, beating No. 20 Boise State and losing to No. 10 UCLA by a point. The Wolverines have a shot to give coach Jim Harbaugh his first significant win as their leader and to boost the team's confidence going into Big Ten play.
The stat: The Wolverines have come away with points every time they've had the ball inside the 20, scoring eight TDs and making two field goals.
The line: Michigan by 5 ½
No. 3 TCU at Texas Tech
3:45 p.m., Ch. 9
Records: TCU 3-0, Texas Tech 3-0
The skinny: A Texas Tech win would avenge an 82-27 loss at TCU last year. It would also match all the Red Raiders' victories last year and likely earn them a ranking for the first time since 2013. TCU, defending Big 12 co-champion, looks to extend its winning streak to 12 games.
The stat: TCU's 11-game winning streak is second only to top-ranked defending national champion Ohio State's 16 in a row.
The line: TCU by 7 ½
No. 14 Texas A&M at Arkansas
6 p.m., ESPN
Records: LSU 2-0, Syracuse 3-0
The skinny: It's the SEC opener for both teams and another chance for Arkansas to go against the spread offense. The Razorbacks are coming off consecutive home losses to spread offenses in Toledo and Texas Tech.
The stat: Arkansas leads the SEC in third-down conversions at 49 percent (17 of 35) but are last in allowing opponents to convert 51 percent on third downs (21 of 41).
The line: Texas A&M by 7
No. 18 Utah at No. 13 Oregon
7:30 p.m., Ch. 9
Records: Utah 3-0, Oregon 2-1
The skinny: The key to this game likely will be the health of the two quarterbacks. Utah's Travis Wilson did not play last week after injuring his shoulder the week before and is questionable for Saturday. Oregon's Vernon Adams sat out last week's win over Georgia State to give his broken index finger a chance to heal.
The stat: Oregon has thrown a touchdown pass in 71 straight games, an NCAA record.
