Villanova treats fans to win in campus gym
• NO. 1 VILLANOVA 77, BUTLER 67: Leading scorer Josh Hart scored 22 points and Kris Jenkins had 20 for the Wildcats (24-3, 13-1 Big East), who won their seventh consecutive game Saturday. Kelan Martin scored 19 for Butler (18-9, 7-8). It was the first time in Villanova history that a No. 1 team played at the Pavilion, the Wildcats' on-campus home.
• NO. 2 KANSAS 72, KANSAS STATE 63: The Jayhawks (23-4, 11-3 Big 12) blew most of a 17-point lead but hung on and won at K-State (15-12, 4-10) for the first time in three years. Frank Mason III scored 15 points for Kansas.

• ST. BONAVENTURE 79, N0. 15 DAYTON 72: Jaylen Adams matched his career high with 31 points and hit the big shots in the final 36 seconds, leading the Bonnies (18-7, 10-4 Atlantic 10) over the Flyers (21-5, 11-3) for their first road win over a ranked team ever.
WOMEN
• NO. 4 BAYLOR 78, IOWA STATE 41: Niya Johnson had 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists, helping the Lady Bears (27-1, 14-1 Big 12) rout the visiting Cyclones (13-13, 5-10). Seanna Johnson led Iowa State with 12 points.
• NORTHWESTERN 71, WISCONSIN 53: Junior Nia Coffey and rookie Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah posted double-doubles for the Wildcats (14-14, 4-12) against the host Badgers (7-19, 3-13).
MIAC
• St. Thomas clinched its second straight outright MIAC crown with an 89-65 victory over St. Mary's, securing a first-round bye — along with the Cardinals — in the conference tournament. Kaitlin Langer had 28 points for the Tommies. The sixth and final playoff spot finalized Saturday went to St. Benedict, which beat Augsburg 42-37.
