Co-starring in 1983's horror movie "The Hunger" left Susan Sarandon and David Bowie hungry … for each other.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, the actress reveals she had a "pretty interesting" love affair with the musician after they met on the set of the film.

"He's worth idolizing. He's extraordinary. That was a really interesting period," Sarandon, 67, says.

The romantic rendezvous came after Sarandon divorced her first husband, Chris Sarandon, and before she began dating actor Tim Robbins, whom she split with in 2009 after 23 years together.

And although it's been years since they went their separate ways, Sarandon still has nothing but good feelings for the British-born rocker.

"Bowie's just a really interesting person, and so bright."

Server disrespects the Queen of Soul

A Johnny Rockets server showed D-I-S-R-E-S-P-E-C-T to the Queen of Soul on Tuesday at a restaurant on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. A spokesman for Aretha Franklin says the star ordered a hamburger after performing a sold-out show. But he says the server screamed at Franklin, saying she couldn't sit down to eat because she ordered takeout. A Johnny Rockets spokeswoman says the franchise owner is sorry for the actions of "a new and very young employee."
