Sarah Potomak's second goal of the game, with 6 minutes, 40 seconds left, gave the Gophers a 4-3 victory over Minnesota Duluth in a WCHA women's hockey game at Ridder Arena. It came on a rebound and broke a 3-all tie.

The No. 3 Gophers (4-1-0, 2-1-0 WCHA) outshot No. 4 UMD 35-23 but fell behind 1-0 when Sydney Brodt of the Bulldogs scored 4:25 into the game.
