The St. Paul Saints' streak of 14 consecutive series won to start the season ended on Sunday.
With their 3-2 loss at Winnipeg, the best they can do is split when the four-game series ends Monday.
The Saints (37-12) have their second two-game losing streak of the season and have lost two straight to the same team for the first time.
Five pitchers gave up only five hits for the Goldeyes (21-27). Nick Hernandez improved to 6-2, though his ERA actually rose to 1.99.
Winnipeg scored all three of its runs in the fifth inning to wipe out the Saints' 2-0 lead.
