You no longer have to hide spare toilet paper in the vanity. Designer Jonathan Adler has teamed up with Cottonelle for a collection of vibrantly colored stylish roll covers."Why shouldn't everyday objects be groovy?" Adler asked in a recent phone interview. The designs are in his signature style, showcased in his line of high-end furnishings and accessories (www.jonathanadler.com).

"This was a great opportunity to make my designs accessible for everyone," said Adler, who has written several decorating books and recently opened his 16th home furnishings store in Connecticut. The limited-edition toilet-paper roll covers come in three different designs and color schemes: "Barjello Blue," "Chevron Pink" and "Clover Green."

Designer roll covers not only add "happy chic color" to a bathroom but they put toilet paper within reach for guests, said Adler.

"I try to hoard my Xanax pills," he said. "This way no one will have to go through my medicine chest."

To order, go to www.respecttheroll.com (the cost is $2 per roll cover, plus $1.99 for shipping and handling) or get one free with an Offer Code from a purchase of specially marked packages of Cottonelle toilet paper. The limited-edition covers are available until April 30.
