Rocking the Raptor's Nest

It's 60 minutes before kickoff of Woodbury at East Ridge but judging by the crowd, you'd think it was 60 seconds away. East Ridge stadium (dubbed the Raptor's Nest) opens tonight in Woodbury against the community's original high school, which opened in 1975. That was my first year as well.

It's 60 minutes before kickoff of Woodbury at East Ridge but judging by the crowd, you'd think it was 60 seconds away. East Ridge stadium (dubbed the Raptor's Nest) opens tonight in Woodbury against the community's original high school, which opened in 1975. That was my first year as well.

East Ridge uses black, white and gold as its school colors, but tonight it's all about the black. Fans are donning black apparel to "Black Out" the west side of the stadium -- and few seats remain.
