Report: Tartan's Brookins decommits from U to Badgers

The defensive back was the Gophers first commitment for the Class of 2013.

According to TheBadgerNation, Tartan defensive back recruit Keelon Brookins -- a three-star recruit -- has decommitted from the Gophers and is now committed to play at Wisconsin.

It should be noted that Brookins' commitment in February -- nearly a year before signing day, making him the first recruit to commit to the Gophers for the Class of 2013 -- looked to be a soft verbal because he said at the time he still planned to make his other planned visits. And we are still several months away from the date he can put pen to paper. Here is the tweet from TheBadgerNation:
