NBA draft prospect Rashad Vaughn returned home to the Twin Cities for workouts with the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday and the Timberwolves on Monday.
Vaughn starred at Cooper High School before playing for a Las Vegas school as a senior and last season at UNLV. He is projected to be drafted late in the first round on June 25.
He has been crisscrossing the country working out for various teams over the past month.
NSIC honors eight
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference will induct eight individuals into its Hall of Fame on July 15 at the Best Western Premier in Burnsville.

• The Sioux Falls Canaries beat the visiting St. Paul Saints 3-0 in the first game of a doubleheader on Harrison Kain's two-run homer in the fifth inning. The loss drops the Saints to 17-3, which is still their best 20-game start ever. They were 15-5 in 2003.
• St. Catherine tennis coach Ben Hageseth resigned after seven seasons to pursue a medical career. Eric Stacey, the school's athletic director and former coach of the team for 10 years, will replace him.
