Rambis attends, but future isn't setSome of the NBA's biggest management names -- Larry Bird, Mitch Kupchak, Flip Saunders, Avery Johnson, Kurt Rambis -- attended draft workouts scouted by more than 25 teams on Monday at Target Center. Kurt Rambis? Yes, he attended, but his presence apparently didn't mean one thing or the other on whether he will return as Timberwolves coach.
Rambis, who didn't attend last week's Chicago predraft camp, very well could have come to town from his Los Angeles-area home to finally sit down and talk with boss David Kahn, who still likely is a week or more away from a coaching decision.
As of last weekend, the two hadn't met since the season ended April 13.
