Calling all rodeo fans. Grab your cowboy hat and boots, and other gear if you like, and head to Medina's Hamel Rodeo, the state's largest, Thursday through next Sunday at Corcoran Lions Park. Join thousands of spectators to watch riders compete for prize money. Tim "Wild Thang" Lepard and the Ghost Riders, his team of cowboy monkeys, are also set to perform. The rodeo will be held nightly at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday has an additional family matinee performance at 1 p.m. Other highlights include free pony rides, a parade on Main Street (2 p.m. Sunday) and more.
