Q What's your line's signature?
A My fabrics. For the fall, there's a bouclé. It's the most durable and breathable wool that you can wear in different climates.
Q What are the hot trends in menswear?
A When it comes to suiting, every color sells as long as it's black or gray, some shades of brown and maybe navy. When it comes to sport jackets, men are more daring. Right now, styling is two-buttons with a smaller notch lapel and tighter. Also flat-front pants, tapered at the bottom. It's more "Mad Men." The tighter body is a more serious look.
Q What's your stance on the bottom button of suit jackets?
A The bottom button always stays unbuttoned. The same goes with a vest. A double breasted jacket should be buttoned when standing. I'm very much into the Victorian when it comes to properness. With the three button, it's top or middle or top and middle, but never the bottom. You have to wear a belt, too.
Q What should every man have?
A A full-length mirror.
