The field of candidates vying to be the next superintendent of the Prior Lake-Savage district has been narrowed to two choices, with a final decision expected April 22.
William Gronseth, currently superintendent in the Duluth district, and Teri Staloch, who now serves as assistant superintendent in the Osseo district, will advance to the second round of interviews.
The initial set of interviews began with five candidates and was completed April 8 and 9. Before that, there were 24 applicants for the job.
On April 22, the final interviews will be held at the District Service Center (4540 Tower St. SE, Prior Lake). They are open to the public.
Sue Ann Gruver has been the district's superintendent since 2008. She will retire at the end of the year.
