The Prior Lake-Savage school board has unanimously chosen Teri Staloch as the district's next superintendent, and Staloch has accepted the position.

Staloch serves as the assistant superintendent in the Osseo district. She will begin her duties in Prior Lake-Savage on June 30, when current Superintendent Sue Ann Gruver retires after seven years in the role.

Previously, Staloch has held leadership positions with the Holmen district in western Wisconsin and been an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Before that, she was a middle and high school English teacher. She received her doctorate from the  University of Minnesota in educational policy and administration, and her Masters degree from the University of Minnesota in curriculum and instruction.
