Parties

BIG GAY PRIDE PARTY: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

Gay Twin Cities' party boasts the distinction of being the biggest Pride party of the past three years. With New York-based DJ Hector Fonseca and local DJs Shiek and SoKo, plus performances by the all-male Blue Phoenix Circus Troupe on Epic's massive rooftop patio.

GAY 90'S FOAM PARTY

The megamall of dance clubs boasts three dance floors, eight bars, drag shows and male strippers -- but during Pride, it's all about its signature Foam Party. The concept is simple: a scantily clad crowd, dance music and a whole lot of foam. (9 p.m. Fri. $5-$10. 18-plus. Gay 90's)

MEMOIRS OF A GAYSHA

Thom Pham's throws an all-day geisha-themed party Sunday, with an all-you-can-eat dim sum brunch with DJ SoKo, prime parade viewing and drink specials, followed by a Tea Dance spun by DJs Logan Spencer (1:30 p.m.), Shiek (6 p.m.) and Jonathan Ackerman (10 p.m.). (10 a.m. Sun.-2 a.m. Mon. Free; $20 for brunch. All ages. Thom Pham's Wondrous Azian Kitchen)

MINNEAPOLIS EAGLE'S SCORCH FIREBALL XII

Minneapolis' premier leather bar, the Eagle, celebrates men in uniform with its Black and Blue Uniform Ball in its Bolt Underground (9 p.m. Fri). Bear Bar Night starts at 7 p.m. Saturday. Friday and Saturday, the club hosts a tented party beginning at 4 p.m. And it hosts its all-you-can-drink $10 Beer Bust from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

JETSET PARTIES

Friday night's "Family" at the Euro-styled gay bar features regular DJs JR and Punchy, while Saturday night's "Gaywatch" 10th-anniversary celebration with DJs Bryan Gerrard and JR looks to be wilder. (9 p.m. Fri. & Sat. Free. 21-plus. Jetset)

Parade brunch

The swankiest way to take in Sunday's Pride parade has to be a rooftop brunch. Back for another year is "Bitch n Brunch," hosted by drag queen Bitch Flowers on Seven Sushi's rooftop, with a live set by Far From Falling's Harley Wood and DJ Shiek, gift bags, brunch and a bird's-eye view of the parade. (9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sun. $10-$30. All ages.) Meanwhile, Crave hosts "Rooftop Redemption," featuring parade commentary by "The Makeover Guy" Christopher Hopkins and drag queen Lucy Furr, music from DJ Rich B, a silent auction and brunch.
