Preview: Wolves vs. Indiana

Preview: Wolves backup point guard J.J. Barea did not practice Thursday after he chased a loose ball into the scorer's table in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's 90-75 victory over Orlando and sustained a mid-foot sprain in his left foot. He'll be evaluated again Friday. The team listed him as day-to-day. ... Indiana star forward Danny Granger is out for three months after receiving an injection to treat patellar tendinitis in his left knee. ...The Pacers are 2-3 after the Hawks went on a late 18-0 run and won 89-86 Wednesday in Atlanta. ... Indiana swept the two-game series last season for the first time since 2001-02.

Players to watch: F David West has led the Pacers in scoring in three of their first five games and is averaging 21 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes a game. ... With Granger out, 6-10 shooting guard Paul George's role expands. He is averaging 13.8 points per game. ... Former Timberwolves G/F Gerald Green started the first three games, but Sam Young has replaced him the past two games.

Injuries: Barea is questionable. Wolves F Kevin Love (broken hand) and G Ricky Rubio (knee surgery) are out. Granger is out for the Pacers and F Jeff Pendergraph is listed as day to day because of headaches.
