Preview: Wolves at LA Clippers

November 28, 2012 at 5:22AM

Preview: The 8-6 Clippers have lost consecutive games after winning six in a row before that. They lost at Oklahoma City, Brooklyn and Atlanta after starting a four-game trip with a victory at San Antonio and then lost 105-98 to a New Orleans team missing No. 1 overall pick Anthony Davis in their return home Monday. The Wolves took last year's season series 3-1, winning the first three when Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio were healthy.

Players to watch: Look out for a bounce-back game from Clippers F Blake Griffin, who had the worst statistical performance of his career in Monday's loss to the Hornets: He made only one basket and scored four points. Clippers F Caron Butler set a team record by making nine three-pointers (and scoring 33 points) on Monday.

Injuries: Wolves G Ricky Rubio (knee surgery), G Brandon Roy (knee surgery) and F Chase Budinger (knee surgery) are all out. Clippers G Chauncey Billups (Achilles tendon), F Grant Hill (knee bone bruise) and F Trey Thompkins (knee bone bruise) all are listed as out.
