Preview: Timberwolves vs. Thunder

Preview: The Thunder is back home from a five-game trip during which it won the first three games and lost the last two, at Atlanta on Friday and at Cleveland on Sunday. Sunday's loss dropped OKC back to .500 (22-22) in a season when they played the first month with stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook mostly out injured. Only four teams in NBA history reached a .500 record at the season's midway point after falling nine games under .500. …The Thunder won the season's first meeting, 111-92 at Target Center on Dec.12.

Players to watch: Durant and Westbrook have each scored 30 or more points in a game 31 times, the most by a duo dating back to Westbrook's 2008-09 season. The next closest tandem: LeBron James and Dwyane Wade each scored 30-plus 14 times since then. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen played together 10 seasons and did it 16 times.

Injuries: Wolves G Ricky Rubio (ankle), F Shabazz Muhammad (oblique) and G Kevin Martin (wrist) are out. Thunder F Mitch McGary (leg) is out. JERRY ZGODA
