The winner stays atop the Big Ten East and in strong position for the College Football Playoff, and for Ohio State, a loss will all but end the Buckeyes' hopes of returning there. The Buckeyes have had this one circled since Grant Haley — he of the 60-yard blocked field goal return — and unranked Penn State upset No. 2 Ohio State 24-21 in Happy Valley last year. Penn State has won 16 of 17 and is in the middle of a three-game stretch of Michigan-Ohio State-Michigan State.
