Gophers at a glance: It's Dads and Daughters Day at Williams Arena. Minnesota (8-3) is coming off two-consecutive home blowout victories over nonconference opponents. Rachel Banham had a dominating 29-point performance, including a 5-for-7 effort from behind the arc, in the Gophers' 87-49 rout of Missouri-Kansas City on Friday. Redshirt freshman Kayla Hirt scored 14 points off the bench. Micaella Riche is averaging 7.1 rebounds per game, a team high, and 13.2 points. Minnesota committed only nine turnovers on Friday night and 10 on Wednesday against Denver.

Robert Morris at a glance: The Colonials (0-7) have yet to win a basketball game this season. They take on their third Big Ten opponent on Sunday after losing handily to Iowa and Michigan State a few weeks ago. Robert Morris carries an international flavor with six players coming from outside the U.S. Junior forward Artemis Spanou from Greece is averaging 15.7 points and 12.6 rebounds per game to lead the team. The Colonials are shooting only 33.3 percent from the field. They are committing 20.4 turnovers and averaging fewer than 50 points per game.
