Gophers at a glance: Thursday's 90-68 loss to Virginia dropped the Gophers to 6-2 and ended a 10-game winning streak at Williams Arena. They are 3-13 against Kansas and have never won in seven games at Allen Fieldhouse. ... G Rachel Banham scored 21 points against the Cavaliers. She has reached double digits in 10 consecutive games. ... G Shayne Mullaney made her first career start against Virginia, finishing with nine points and four assists.

Kansas at a glance: The Jayhawks (6-0) routed Grambling State 101-47 on Wednesday and have a 48-game winning streak in nonconference regular-season games at home, their last such loss was Dec. 31, 2006. ... Coach Bonnie Hendrickson is a Willmar native and St. Cloud State graduate. She has led the Jayhawks to postseason play in six of the past eight seasons, including a run to the NCAA tournament's Sweet 16 last season. Senior center Carolyn Davis leads the team with 16 points per game. The Jayhawks' solid defense is holding opponents to 34.4 percent shooting.
