Game preview

What: Minnesota United FC (0-1-1) vs. FC Edmonton (0-1-1). 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Metrodome.

Preview: Both teams are searching for their first North American Soccer League victory of the young season. And a new playoff format means every point counts. The team had a bye last week. … Pablo Campos, one of the team's highly touted free-agent signings, is serving the second of a two-game suspension carried over from last season when he head-butted future teammate Kyle Altman.

FC Edmonton at a glance: Scored the fewest goals (26) in the NASL last season and finished last of eight teams in the standings. … Midfielder Neil Hlavaty, a fixture on the Minnesota Stars' two finals teams, signed with FC Edmonton in the offseason. … The team is playing its third consecutive road game.
