Minnesota women's basketball recruit Carlie Wagner reiterated to the Star Tribune that she remains completely committed to the Gophers despite the coaching change.

The four-star recruit from New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva committed to former coach Pam Borton. After Borton was fired, Wagner said she didn't waver on her decision, noting her attraction to the Minnesota campus and comfort level with the team.

Wagner said new coach Marlene Stollings reached out to her shortly after getting hired. "I felt really comfortable with her," Wagner said. "I know she likes to run-and-gun, fast-paced game and that's what I love to do, so I'm really excited for that aspect, too."
