JORDANA BRADY

An accomplished club gymnast for much of her life, Brady had endured repeated requests around school to become a member of the high school team.
The idea took root last fall and Brady made the switch, leaving Flyaways Gold Gymnastics in Forest Lake to join the Knights. It was a move that has paid off with far greater dividends than Brady could have hoped.
Brady has competed in five meets this season and won the all-around title in each, highlighted by her most impressive victory of the year at the MGGOA Classic on Saturday at Roseville.
Brady tied for first in the floor exercise, was second on the uneven bars and took third on the balance beam and the vault. She finished with a personal best all-around score of 37.05.
"That was my favorite meet because there was good competition and I had to push myself," Brady said.
While she misses club gymnastics, Brady is enjoying high school gymnastics more than she envisioned.
"I'm very surprised at how things have gone," she said. "This season has been a big confidence boost."
It's also revealed a part of the gymnastics world that she never knew existed.
