Before the PACER Center's star-powered performance, there's the invitation-only cocktail party. That's where corporate and private sponsors of the annual fundraiser mingle, sip cocktails and enjoy hors d'oeuvres. This year's event was held in the Season Rotunda of the Minneapolis Convention Center, where sunshine from the warm spring evening filtered through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Bidding stayed open in the massive silent auction until just before the performance of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Crosby, Stills & Nash. The 33rd annual fundraiser benefits the many programs PACER Center provides for children with disabilities and their families, as well as the organization's National Bullying Prevention Center.
