Tuesday: Petty and the boys can't really sing "You Don't Come Around Here No More" with a lot of conviction, since they've been coming through town on tour every other summer of late. But they do have a new album to promote, "Mojo," their first since the 2002 dud "The Last DJ." They felt strongly enough about the new material to package a copy of the record with each ticket sold on their summer tour. Fans can't complain about not knowing the songs. Based on the hard-cranking single now making the airwaves, "I Should've Known It," they probably won't be complaining, either. You can also count on these guys to cram in a good amount of their ridiculously numerous old hits. They're also reliable for bringing in noteworthy opening acts, and they certainly have one in critically lauded Southern-rock favorites the Drive-by Truckers. (7:30 p.m. Tue. $51.50-$127. Xcel Energy Center, W. 7th St. and Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul. 1-800-982-2787.) CHRIS RIEMENSCHNEIDER
