OZZY OSBOURNE Wednesday: Metal's most iconic singer escaped an 18-inch snowstorm and the inevitable "Blizzard of Ozz" review headlines last month when he called off his Target Center concert, purportedly due to a (very well-timed) ear infection. Now he's playing his first concert of the year here, his 43rd year in the business, which finds him breaking in a new guitarist, Gus G, while his resilient wife, Sharon, is breaking in a new TV role as co-host of "The Talk." Set lists from the first leg of the tour included usual favorites such as "Paranoid," "Iron Man" and "Crazy Train" alongside a few songs off his latest album, "Scream," plus a few more Black Sabbath nuggets that he hasn't sung in years. At press time, the opening act for this makeup date had not been set. (7:30 p.m. Wed. $29.50-$79.50. Target Center, 600 1st Av. N., Mpls. 651-989-5151.)CHRIS RIEMENSCHNEIDER
