Monday: After discs on the Manhattan and Telarc labels, this Minneapolis piano popster is self-releasing two albums. One is a full-band disc, the other a solo piano excursion featuring five of the same tunes plus six others. "When It Don't Come Easy," the band effort, finds Noble in full Lilith Fair flight, confidently delivering thoughtfully introspective, husky-voiced pop. The music is tastefully understated, affording a combination of richness and intimacy -- save for the out-of-place guitar riff-rocker "Red Eye Flight." Noble is much more convincing on the gospel-tinged "Make Me Believe" and the achingly soulful "Loves Me Crazy." "Flying Solo," the piano album, sounds a little lonely -- more like demos, or a must-have souvenir for hardcore fans. Opening is Rocket Club, the aspiring Twin Cities country band. (7:30 p.m. Mon., Guthrie Theater, 818 S. 2nd St., Mpls. $27-$30. www.guthrietheater.org or 612-377-2224.) JON BREAM
